Company Story
In November of 2024 I was presented with options on next steps in career advancement and decided to pursue what I enjoy and am good at. By developing this website, I am now available to a larger audience to provide information outside the confines of a single company’s walls as well as the ability to collaborate with a broader group of industries, experts and colleagues. To this end, I am bringing opportunities and possibilities to the food and beverage industries to ask different and sometimes difficult questions through a confidential format.
With this tool, you can bring your own concerns to the discussion or select a topic that most interests you and we can develop a customized response that only you will be privy to. I am hoping to bring a unique service to those in need and those that are curious.

Meet the Founder
Dr. Richard (Rich) Joy, B.Sc., Ph.D.
I have been in the malting, brewing, distilling and food processing industries for over 25 years, covering areas in the laboratory, testing, malting, production, operations, market identification, CRM, research, technology development and sustainability. During this time I have developed a keen insight into what customers want and how to get it to them. Further, I have had the pleasure of working with customers from south, central and north America, the Caribbean as well as south and north Asia; from craft brewers and distillers to the largest brewers and distillers globally.
I have developed a website in which I will be able to share this expertise for those in need or just wish to increase their knowledge in an area that they are not fully familiar with. I look forward to discussing the many things that you are interested in and specifically those that you are not sure of.
My approach is not only from leveraging our basic knowledge in these areas but also from practical experience through decades of work and experiences on all that can happen in the many production facilities; from the field to the consumer!
I believe that we can all improve our craft through education, knowledge and sharing of expertise. Hence, I have started with the development of multiple categories that contain dozens of topics to whet your appetite. Pick one or more and I would be happy to discuss multiple options for sharing in addition to a follow up discussion.
